Spelling bee
Central Plains Elementary-Holyrood and Central Plains Middle School-Bushton held their annual spelling bee on Jan. 15. Thirty-three fourth- and fifth-grade students participated in the elementary bee. Matt Donecker, fifth grader, took first and Emma Bolz, fifth grader, took second.
