ELLINWOOD — Star of Hope presents Reza in McPherson, Salina and Hutchinson as part of a thirteen city summer tour to benefit the children of Marigot, Haiti.
Reza and Star of Hope have teamed together to make sure that the Marigot, Haiti school can remain open. Beginning July 13, the summer 2013 tour will bring the Reza show to the Midwest, including the cities of Omaha, McCook, Holdrege and Kearney in Nebraska, Salina, McPherson, Wichita, Hutchinson, Pratt, Garden City, Colby and Hays in Kansas and Loveland, Colorado.
Reza is intriguing, engaging, and captivating. He has the ability to connect with his audiences and let them feel his magic on a personal level. Everyone will delight in the show and also learn what a difference they can make in the life of a Haitian child.
This partnership hopes to result in 100 new friends this summer who will become a sponsor. That number along with a share of the ticket revenue will mean that the Marigot school open can remain open.
Without the help of sponsors the children in Marigot will survive and the life a Haitian child will not change. With a sponsor, that child can go to school. The learning, social interaction, health screenings, nutritional food and hearing the gospel can make a difference in the future of the child. Without a sponsor, they can just survive. With a sponsor, they will thrive and really live.
It doesn’t take much really, just $1 per day. Most Americans spend more than that on the frivolous. By committing that small amount, the child will know that someone is with him. What a difference that can make.
