Walking for Mutts
Ali Gonzalez, 2, from Ellinwood, came to Great Bend with her mom, Liz Zoren, to raise funds for the Golden Belt Humane Society. GBHS held its first ever Get off your butt and walk your mutts fund raiser on Saturday. The family has three dogs and one cat, which they have always gotten from the animal shelter. They paused for a moment before beginning the walk to talk to Elk Roy, the Drug Awareness Dog sponsored by the Elks Lodge.
