Career days
Heath Dohrman explains his work in a custom cabinetry shop to Lexi Oeser, ShaiAnn Montoya,and Brian Whiterock. Earlier this month, Central Plains Middle School-Bushton hosted a Career Day with ten presenters representing six different career clusters. The presenters talked about their training, showed tools they use, and explained how classes in school correlate with their profession. The presenters and their careers were Virginia Bailey, cosmetologist; Greg Clark, Central Plains school superintendent; Chris Steiner, Claflin EMS; Heath Dohrman, Dohrman Custom Cabinetry; Candi McNeal, Department of Corrections; Nathan Pummell, registered nurse; Matt Splitter, farmer; Zach Hlad and Brandon, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers park rangers; Joe Togersen, truck driver; and Troy Bailey, Baileys Food Store owner.
