A burglary Sunday in Great Bend resulted in damage to an unoccupied residence at 2814 23rd St. and the loss of several items. Barton County Sheriff Brian Bellendir, speaking for Crime Stoppers, noted that a .22 rifle was stolen. Total loss was estimated at $500.
“People had been observed entering and leaving the home,” Bellendir said.
