The polls closed at 7 p.m. Tuesday for the myriad city council, school board and other elections in Barton County. The following results are from Election Officer Donna Zimmerman and her office.
Of the 16,930 registered voters in the county, 2,588 cast ballots. This made the voter turnout 15.29 percent.
Of course, the totals are unofficial pending the vote canvass by Barton County commission Monday morning prior to their regular meeting.
