The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be part of a competitive, traveling baseball league. There will be an open informational meeting about 7U and 8U summer baseball from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8 at the Big Bend Batters Box, 2207 Washington St.
“This will be informal and parents wanting information should come and go anytime during that hour,” GBRC Sports Director Chris Umphres said.  Players born on or after May 1, 2007 are eligible to play in the 7 and under age group; those born on or after May 1, 2006 are eligible for the 8 and under team.
