Hahn Brothers motocross event returns
new slt hahns-racing

The motocross community will convene in central Kansas this Saturday and Sunday for the 2nd Annual Hahn Brothers Supercross Shootout. Hosted by nationally recognized and professional motocross racers Wil and Tommy Hahn, the shootout provides racing opportunities for pro and amateur racers, and an electric atmosphere for spectators and racers, the Hahns said.
The Hahn Brothers’ Shootout will take place in conjunction with the 7th Annual Big Bend Bike Rally. The $10 gate admission provides access to both sides of the event, including all the amenities and entertainment; children 12 and younger are half price.
Wil and Tommy grew up racing in and around Great Bend and consider this to be their home track. The track was rebuilt in 2013 for the inaugural race.
The national anthem and a “Dash for Cash” will kick off the motos starting at approximately 7:30 p.m. Competing for a $7,500 purse, professional MX riders will face off around 8:30 p.m. Saturday events will feature an exhibition race between Wil and Tommy Hahn, pro heat races and amateur racing.
After warm-up races on Saturday, motocross visitors will hit the dirt for a traditional motocross racing competition from approximately 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The gates will also be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday for racer registration.
