Health Department to offer out-reach flu shot clinics

The Barton County Health Department will offer out-reach flu shot clinics throughout the county in the coming weeks. The is as follows:
Thursday Oct. 9
• Galatia – Fire Department from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
• Olmitz – The New Place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• Albert – City Building from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
• Pawnee Rock – City Office from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday Oct. 14
•  Susank –Agco Corporation from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
• Beaver – Fire Station from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Odin – Odin Store from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Claflin – Recreation Center from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
• Great Bend – Senior Center on Kansas St. from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Influenza vaccine is Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billable.  Present an card at the time of service.
The department will also offer the services of going to the extreme home-bound community members.  If anyone know of someone that is unable to leave their home, call the Health Department at 620-793-1902.  Hours of operation include:
Monday 9-4:30
Tuesday 8-4:30
Wednesday 8-4:30
Thursday 8-7:30
Friday 8-4:30
