Holiday crimes reported
Packages stolen, decorations damaged

Two people told the Great Bend Police that packages were stolen from their front porches on Christmas Eve. The thefts were reported Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 3626 23rd St. and at 4500 Quail Creek Dr.
A theft was also reported at Discount Laundry, 2201 10th St., after someone broke into the video games and took money.
On Christmas Day, stolen bicycles were reported at 817 Maple St. and 1714 Adams St.
Damage to the front lawn at 2022 Jackson St. was reported on Christmas day.
After Christmas, police received reports of damage to decorations.
On Friday, an individual at 1620 Madison St. reported someone damaging and stealing parts of his Christmas tree decoration in the front yard. Loss was $400.
Several strings of the Christmas lights on the west side of Brit Spaugh Zoo, 2123 Main, were also damaged, it was reported Sunday.
