Pictured are most of the United Way of Barton County poster winners for 2010. These kids made posters in their schools depicting United Way and then they were framed and given to the following individuals and or companies Suchy Construction, Highland Hotel, Erika Brining (board member), Alterna Care, Barry Bowers, Ed Kirk (board member), UPS, Dr. Roger Marshall, Kansas Fish and Tool and JC Penny. They were given to the companies at the Campaign Kickoff Thursday at the Best Western Angus Inn. United Way Executive Director Julie Bogner-Smith said the kick-off was a huge success and gave the community a chance to interact with the 19 agencies that United Way funds in the Community. She said 99 percent of all funds raised by United Way of Barton County stay here in Barton County.
