A motorist was flown to Via Christi’s St. Francis Hospital in Wichita on Friday after two vehicles collided at Eisenhower Ave. and Patton Road.
According to the Great Bend Police Department, Jon Link was ejected from a 2000 Ford Explorer he was driving when it was hit by a 2013 Dodge Dart driven by Dana Vanbrimmer, at 12:15 p.m., in the 1300 block of Patton Road.
Vanbrimmer was driving east on Eisenhower and Link was northbound on Patton. Link was transported to the airport by Great Bend Emergency Medical Service and flown to Wichita in a Life Team airplane.
A Via Christi spokesman said Saturday night that Link's condition had been upgraded to fair.
