The driver of a motorcycle was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita on Friday after rear-ending a car driven by a St. John resident, who was not injured, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle was driven by Seth B. Kellogg, 53, of Okmulgee, Okla. He was not wearing a helmet. The car, a 2009 Pontiac G6, was driven by Savanna N. Berens, 27, St. John. She was wearing a seat belt.
The accident occurred at 5:42 p.m. Friday on Interstate 135 at 37th St. in Wichita. Both vehicles were northbound in the same lane when Berens slowed down due to traffic congestion. Kellogg was driving a 2005 Honda motorcycle, which was removed by Ken’s Auto Tow.
A spokesman for Wesley Medical Center said Kellogg was released on Saturday.
