Rollover wreck
According to the Barton County Sheriffs office, this tractor trailer driven by Byrl Wear, Claflin, was south bound on K156 approaching NE 30 Rd. on Thursday morning at 11:55 a.m. Attempting to avoid turning vehicles, Wear entered the ditch on the north side of NE 30. The tractor continued across the roadway, entered the ditch on the south and rolled onto its side, loosing its load of hay. Wear was extracted from the vehicle by Great Bend Fire/EMS and transported to CKMC for his injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
