Ladies modeled ensembles from Beautiful Beginnings, The Gallery, Main Street Boutique, Maurice’s and Walmart. There were also some children to model outfits from Completely Kids.
The Great Bend Recreation Commission organizes this annual show at the Senior Center.
"We have lots of tropical colors and lightweight fabrics, said Erin Weathers from Maurcie’s."
Loretta Miller from The Gallery talked about how to create different looks, starting with some fashion staples and varying tops, shoes and accessories, as Sally Rychlec modeled.
There are several pretty, flattering styles this season, according the glamour.com. Among them: ’60s coats, slinky ’70s dresses, high-waisted flare jeans and "happy prints."
FashionRising.com reports the sheer maxi dress will be big this summer, and the key look for the season will be ’70s glamour. "Think dresses that fall like shimmering water in the evening, and high-waist pants with elegant blouses by day."
