United Way poster winners
Each year Julie Smith, Director for United Way of Central Kansas visits the 5th grade USD 355 and St. Joseph School, both at Ellinwood. She talks to the classes about giving back and community service and each of the students depicts a poster based on the current campaign theme. For the 2015 campaign the theme is Pay it Forward. The winners of the contest representing each school are presenting their poster to a business or volunteer that supports the United Way of Central Kansas. UWCK supports 19 local agencies and 99 percent of money raised goes back into the community. Representing United Way of Central Kansas are board members Becca Maxwell and Ronda Sjogren
