Really Old Book Sale starts Saturday
friends of library old books

Friends of the Great Bend Public Library has accumulated an assortment of really old, dusty books that are getting even dustier so the Friends decided to have a “Really Old Book Sale.” This sale will begin Saturday, November 30 through the month of December during regular library hours.

On the first day, the cart will be brimming with books and more will be added as books are sold. There may be treasures for resale, a craft idea, or a favorite book from long ago. The books may be purchased at the front desk for $1 each.

The Friends Book Store, located across from the front desk, holds gently used, nearly new books. These books will be sold for the regular price of $3 for hardbacks and $1 for paperbacks and children’s books. The revenue raised supports the Great Bend Public Library by providing extra programming and other items as needed.

The Friends of the Library is a group of people who love anything library connected and welcome new members. Please inquire at the Front Desk for more information.
