Endowment Committee of Trinity Lutheran Church awards scholarships

The Endowment Committee of Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend awarded scholarships to 13 members of the congregation who will be attending college this school year. Awarded $500 scholarships were freshmen Darien Blackwell, New Mexico Junior College and Nina Burton, Barton Community College. Awarded $300 scholarships were upperclassmen Lyndsee Johnson, Matt Krug and Katelyn Kaiser, Kansas State University, Cameron Lampe, University of Kansas, Elizabeth Simmons, Wichita State University, Jenna Clarke, Barton Community College, Kelly Curtis, Sterling College and Amber Dowson, Michelle Mull, Matthew Koch and Amanda VanSkike, Fort Hays State University.
Amanda VanSkike received the Lupton Scholarship.
Trinity’s Endowment Fund annually distributes monies for scholarships to members of Trinity Lutheran Church and also supports outreach into the community and missions of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) at home and overseas.
