Faith Community Church will be hosting a series of special ministry meetings at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 26 and at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 27. Guest speakers are Dr. Stephen List and David Steinert. Stephen List is the Founder and President of International Support Ministries. He was born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand in 1941.
Eight years later his parents responded to the Lords call for them to go to Central Africa as missionaries. There, the family of seven witnessed God dwelling in their midst and moving mightily in signs and wonders in response to having put their total trust in Him.
At the age of 17, Stephen completed high school in Africa then traveled to the United States to attend Seminary. After receiving his Seminary and Doctor of Divinity degrees, he returned to Africa to serve as a Missionary also heading a Bible College. Years later Dr. List returned to the United States as a pastor over many churches and held many administrative roles. With such diverse experiences, he is recognized as a Pastor’s Pastor.
Today, Dr. List is circling the globe as an International speaker to world leadership, conducting leadership conferences, church conferences and crusades. He is in a position to know much of what the Holy Spirit is doing throughout the world. He has a fresh message and prophetic word, bringing hope and encouragement for the body of Christ regarding this present day.
David Steinert is a Great Bend native. David graduated from Faith Bible College in 1980 and began to pastor churches in 1982. He was a Pastor to several churches in Kansas until 1990 then felt led to move to the Northwest landing in Oregon where he continued to pastor and minister in other capacities.
Throughout all the years of ministry David has always worked full time in the secular world and brings extensive experience in living Christ in the Marketplace. David believes that God is moving His people beyond the church walls. He is calling them to be shining lights throughout their neighborhoods, jobs, cities, states, the nation and the world. David brings a positive message of “Living the Jesus Life in the World Today”, to the Body of Christ
The public is invited. Faith Community Church is located one mile West of 10th and Patton Road in Great Bend.
