First Christian Church, 5230 Broadway Ave., will again sponsor the Pumpkin Patch, offering for sale over 2,000 pumpkins in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. Families can come to have family photos taken, and to purchase Indian corn, gourds, small pumpkins for baking Thanksgiving pumpkin pies, said Kelli Frazier at the church.

This is a fundraising project for the church. Proceeds will be used to fund youth ministries and children ministries, such as mission trips and Vacation Bible School.

The first delivery of pumpkins is scheduled to arrive at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Beginning Sunday, the patch will be open daily through Oct. 31. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-7 p.m. Sundays.
