The First Church of the Nazarene is gearing up for Vacation Bible School and would like to invite all children ages 4 years to 4th grade to join them July 9-14 for the Son Harvest County Fair Bible School.

The VBS kickoff will be at 6 p.m., on Saturday, July 9 at the County Fair Grounds. Parents must attend with their children. Meet at the Nazarene Food Booth for instructions to begin your fun scavenger hunt throughout the Fairgrounds.

Sunday, July 10 through Thursday, July 14, children will meet at the Nazarene Church, 4811 Broadway, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Attendees will learn all about the Fruit of the Spirit through County Fair activities including learning how to can jelly and how to milk a cow, along with other traditional activities of songs, snacks, Bible stories and scripture.

All children must have a parent release form signed to participate. To get a release form or if you need a ride, call 620-793-6139 or stop by the church office at 4811 Broadway. You may also pick up release forms at registration on Sunday evening. The final mini-program will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, July 17, during the worship service time for any children who can attend.
