'Journey of the Universe' to be shown at motherhouse

Dominican Sisters of Peace will show the motion picture “Journey of the Universe” at 6:15 p.m. Friday, March 22, in the auditorium of the Motherhouse, 3600 Broadway Ave. A freewill donation is requested. Refreshments and discussion will follow the movie, which has a run time of 56 minutes.
“Journey of the Universe” (2011) is part of the Sisters’ Movies with a Message series. The next film will be “The Big Year” (2011), which will be shown on April 26.
From the Big Bang to the epic impact humans have on the planet today, this film is designed to inspire a new and closer relationship with Earth in a period of growing environmental and social crisis. It is narrated by Brian Swimme.
