New Life Drama Company will minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ through skit drama at Great Bend’s Church of Christ, located at 12th and Stone. Pastor Chuck Marshall said the public is invited to the programs set for 7 p.m. Saturday, June 30, and 6 p.m. on July 1.
New Life, which bills itself as “America’s leading skit drama ministry,” will present a series of short, powerful skits that are not only fun and exciting, but life changing as well. The skits touch on a variety of topics such as salvation, prayer, evangelism and family issues. “The material will make you laugh as well as challenge you to a closer walk with the Lord,” sponsors said.
Established in 1983, the New Life Drama Company began when the Lord gave founder and president David Woodrow a vision to equip teams of young people, ages 18-25, to minister the Word of God all over the world through the art of skit drama. NLDC now has four teams traveling all over the globe in all denominational churches, prisons, schools, nursing homes, and on the streets.
This is the group’s third appearance at the Church of Christ.
