Presbyterian Women hold annual Pecan Sale

During the month of September Presbyterian Women are selling fresh Schermer pecans from Georgia. In addition to the 16 oz. packages of pecan halves and medium pieces, there are three 12 oz. specialty packages: chocolate covered pecans, cinnamon glazed pecans, and new this year, are the chocolate caramel clusters. The specialty pecans come packaged in decorative bags all ready for gift giving.

Each year Presbyterian Women sell pecans to raise funds for their many contributions to local, Presbytery, and national mission projects. Locally last year financial support went to the Salvation Army Red Kettle, the Sunflower Early Education Center, The Sunflower Diversified’s “Invest in Kids” campaign, Presbyterian Crisis Management, Barton County Emergency Aid Council, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Barton County Food Bank, the Family Crisis Center, Prodigal Son Ministry, and the Fair Trade Market.
