Seventh-day Adventist Sanctuary groundbreaking
The Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist congregation celebrated groundbreaking for their new sanctuary at noon Nov. 22. The new addition will be  attached to the north side of the present building one mile west of 10th and Patton Road. Pastor Terry Ruebush led the service. Others who participated included former Pastor Jim Martin and wife Melissa,vocalist; Dr. Bell Razafindrabe, building committee chairman, guest pastor Henry Conner, and Doris Reile-Kneller, historian. The architect E. Tom Pyle, Jr. and David Pyle contractor also participated in the service.  Following the turning of the sod  the congregation sang the Doxology.
