“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” – Matthew 25:40
Remembering the spirit of Christmas by giving to others as God gave His Son for us, members of St. Mark Lutheran in Great Bend celebrated their first White Sunday on Dec. 9. Congregational members collected items needed by the Family Crisis Center and wrapped them in white tissue paper. The items were then displayed in the church and presented to Laura Patzner, director of the Family Crisis Center.
“You can’t imagine the impact this will have on our clientele, knowing that there are people who really care about their needs,” said Patzner. “I am amazed by the generosity of the people at St. Mark.”
