The crowd was small, but some people traveled more than 100 miles last Monday to hear Randy Stonehill and Buck Storm present an acoustic concert at the River of Life Church in Great Bend.
Stonehill opened the concert with “Your Love Broke Through,” a song he co-wrote with Keith Green.
Storm is an author and musician. His novel, “The Miracle Man,” was released this year.
Storm and Stonehill have cowritten the CD, “Breath of God.”
The singers invited people to pick up literature and consider sponsoring a child through Compassion International, a Christian charity dedicated to helping children in poverty. Stonehill has promoted the nonprofit organization for years, and wrote its theme song, “Who Will Save the Children?”
River of Life Pastor David LeRoy said Stonehill plans to visit the church again next year and promised to do a “requests show,” playing more of the old songs that people remember.
