“The Music of Christmas”, a concert of traditional sacred hymns celebrating the birth of Christ, will be presented at 4 p.m. on Dec. 18 at the First United Methodist Church, on the corner of Forest and Stone Streets in downtown Great Bend. This program of duets by Jenny Allford and Brad Shirer will feature the Sanctuary grand piano and the 1926 Austin pipe organ of First United Methodist Church. The church is handicapped accessible. Pre-recorded CD’s of the music performed will be available at the close of the concert.
