There will be a fall square dancing organizational/dancing meeting from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Friday at the Great Bend Recreation Center’s Burnside Room, 1214 Stone. The class is sponsored by the Hoisington Swinging Stars and the GBRC, and all singles and couples are invited and there is no dress code.
Peggy Anschutz of Hays and club members will help first-time dancers. Eight people make a square and they walk to the beat of the music according to the caller’s instructions.
“It’s a fun, aerobic, social activity for people of all ages,” said club member Virginia Klepper.
