Aggravated assault reported

The Great Bend Police Department is investigating a report of aggravated assault, and battery. Officers were dispatched to Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main St., at 2:12 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, where a woman said that Jacob Davis pointed a gun at her and several other people. The alleged victim also said a known woman had battered her.
Davis was arrested around 10:15 a.m. Sunday at 2300 McCormick Road and booked into the Barton County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault. He posted a $20,000 surety bond and was released.
At 9:09 p.m., an officer made contact with the female suspect, who was not arrested at the time.
