Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs on Thursday, two Friday, four Saturday and one Sunday.
At 3:40 p.m. Friday units responded to 3116 Forest Ave. for burning in the back yard. They found and extinguished an unattended controlled fire consisting of leaves, magazines and other items.
Several spot fires in the ditch along north U.S. 281 were extinguished around 4:40 p.m.
There was an electrical issue Sunday afternoon at 266 NW 40 Road. The power company was also notified. There was no fire; however, there had been some arcing on the service entrance to the house.

Great Bend Police
A non-injury accident occurred at 7:53 a.m. Friday at Broadway and Washington.
A black LG Droid cellphone was reportedly stolen at Wal-Mart. Loss was $500.
A theft was reported at 1614 Morton.
A burglary was reported Saturday at 608 Holland. Household furniture was taken from the residence. Loss was $1,100.
A debit card was reportedly stolen from 2015 Baker.
Registration place #282-AXA was reportedly stolen from a vehicle at 523 Morphy St.
A burglary was reported at 3:47 a.m. Sunday at 1439 16th St.
Windows in a vehicle at 5206 Eisenhower Ave. were damaged.

Barton County Sheriff
Criminal damage to property at 62 Karen St. was reported Thursday.
A theft was reported at 10 NE 20 Road.
A non-injury accident was reported at 3:46 p.m. at NE 30 Road and North U.S. 281.
A non-injury accident was reported at 7:57 p.m. at East Barton County Road and NE 110.
