Spray paint on a sign in Heizer Park was discovered Tuesday morning.

Someone stole four plants from the front porch at 3820 McKinney Drive, it was reported Tuesday morning. Loss was $20.

Someone broke into a vehicle at 1701 Holland St. and stole the compact disc player, it was reported Tuesday.

A car was keyed at an unknown location, it was reported Tuesday.

Theft of landscaping signs from 2201 Canterbury Lane was reported Tuesday.

Two trailers at 624 Kansas Ave. were spray painted, it was reported Tuesday.

Police are investigating an alleged forgery; the reporting party said someone was writing checks on his closed account.

A vehicle hit a deer on K-4 at NE 100 Ave. at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday.

Burglary and theft from a vehicle parked in the student housing area at Barton Community College occurred Saturday, it was reported Tuesday.
