An injury crash was reported at 1:18 p.m. Saturday at 558 NE 10 Ave., Hoisington. A Ford Escape driven by Jon Strong, Great Bend, was northbound in the 500 block of NE 10 Ave. coming to the top of a hill when it met a second vehicle. Strong swerved to miss the other vehicle and went into the ditch, over-corrected his steering and hit a tree. Strong was transported to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington with minor injuries; his passenger refused medical treatment. Both were wearing seat belts.

The driver of the other vehicle is unknown.
