An officer responded to 300 block 3rd Street reference possible fraud. No loss occurred

An officer checked residence in 300 block 4th Street reference a subject with a warrant.

An officer checked the town reference a check vehicle. An ice cream truck seen in the area without a city issued permit.

An officer responded to 100 block 9th Street reference an ambulance assist.

An officer received found property at the office. Owner was later contacted.

An officer responded to 500 block 2nd Street reference a dog at large. Animal was later returned to owner and citation was issued.

An officer responded to 200 block 4th Street reference possible fraud. Money was given willingly so issue is civil not criminal.

An officer responded to 300 block Park Street reference fraud. Resident had given personal information over the phone. No loss at this time but account holders were notified and resident was advised to monitor accounts as well.

An officer noticed an open door in 200 block 2nd Street. Owner was making repairs.

Aug. 22

An officer responded to a phone call from owner regarding 300 block 4th Street reference questions as tenants are moving out. 

Aug. 23

An officer addressed concern from a citizen regarding paperwork left at their residence. Sheriff Office was contacted and paperwork was delivered to correct location.

Aug. 24

An officer responded west of town regarding an outside agency assist. A disabled trailer was reported on side of road. Fragments of a hub were located and removed from roadway. KDOT was notified of damage to asphalt.

An officer met with High School Principal regarding revised guidelines for Fall Activities.

An officer responded to 100 block W. Front Street regarding a semi-truck parked there for several days. Driver was located.

An officer responded to 300 block 4th Street for a civil issue.

Aug. 30

An officer responded to 100 block 8th Street reference a disturbance. Incident was transferred to Sheriff Office.

Sept. 1

An officer was contacted by resident in 300 block “A” Street reference possible phone harassment. Sender was contacted and advised of complaint.   

Sept. 2

An officer responded to 200 block 5th Street reference a missing juvenile. Juvenile was located at high school after walking there to meet older sibling getting off bus.

Sept. 5

An officer responded to 300 block 4th Street reference a theft. Case taken.

An officer responded to 300 block 2nd Street reference check subject. Individual was not located. 

Sept. 9 

An officer responded to 100 block “C” street reference a check welfare on two juveniles. School reported kids had not been in school for two days without being contacted by parent. Contact was made with parent and advised to contact elementary school. 

An officer responded to 200 block E. Front reference a 911 hang-up. All was fine.
