Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire at 812 Kansas Ave. at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. They arrived to find a sport utility vehicle owned by Aaron Rodriquez in flames. The vehicle was a total loss.

There was also one false alarm caused by a system malfunction, and firefighters made two ambulance runs on Tuesday

A check forgery at 1019 Frey was reported Tuesday.

Notices to appear in municipal court were served Tuesday after two women allegedly took items from the store at 4107 10th St.

Melissa J. Heinzman, Salina — Barton County warrant for traffic contraband in a correctional institution, and Salina Municipal warrant for failure to appear
