HOISINGTON — A motorist was injured when the vehicle she was driving hit a deer at 8:34 p.m. Sunday on K-4, about 4 miles east of Hoisington.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports Maggie Miller, 25, of Claflin, was taken to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington with undetermined injures. The injuries that she received were, for the most part, from airbags deploying in the 2011 GMC Terrain.
Miller was driving west when the deer ran in front of the sport utility vehicle. She was wearing a seat belt.
The vehicle was removed by Marmie’s.
