LARNED -- An Ellinwood man was arrested and booked into the Pawnee County Jail on Friday following an incident in Larned. Pawnee County Attorney Douglas McNett said Saturday that the individual, Chester Joe Stubblefield, 23, of Ellinwood was booked on a probable cause arrest.

The jail roster indicates he is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threat, criminal restraint and criminal damage to property, less than $1,500.

He has not be formally charge and no further information was available Saturday. McNett noted that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
