Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Wednesday. There were no fires.
Ellinwood Fire Department
Two tractors at SE 50 Road and SE 150 Ave. were damaged in a grass fire at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. It was believed that animal activity created electrical problems that caused the fire.
Great Bend Police
Wednesday reports:
Someone threw a brick through a vehicle window at 316 Plum St. and took items.
An archery bale and Traeger grill were stolen from 2537 Quivira Ave. Loss was $885.
Someone scratched the side of a vehicle at 3503 10th St.
Andrew M. Leroy was driving south in the 900 block of McKinley St. at 6:19 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Abigail Arueyingho who was turning onto McKinley from a private drive.
Barton County Sheriff
Wednesday reports:
A volume stand and scrap iron were stolen from the 10 block of NE 150 Ave. Loss was approximately $400.
County road signs at SE 70 Road and SE 70 Ave. were damaged and stolen.
