Robert Ford Jr. was driving south on Kansas Ave. turning left and struck a vehicle driven by David Ray that was westbound on 10th St. at 11:11 a.m. Thursday.
An attempted shoplifting at 3907 Broadway Ave. was reported Thursday.
Theft from 2920 Quivira Ave. was reported Thursday.
Damage to a water well pump at 2622 21st St. was reported Thursday.
A water line broke inside the building at 3407 10th St. around 9:20 p.m. Thursday. The water department responded and turned off the water, and Wheatland Electric turned off the power, due to the amount of water coming out of the ceiling.
Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made two ambulance runs on Thursday.
At 9:33 a.m. they were dispatched to 4209 10th St. to do a carbon monoxide check.
At 10:05 p.m. they responded to 2006 Main for smoke in the building. They found a furnace malfunction.
