GBPD warrant nets drug arrest
on the record

During a warrant search of a Great Bend residence at approximately 9:30 a.m. Friday morning, Dec. 16, Great Bend police officers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, paraphernalia and a firearm on the property located at 2535 21st St. Layton Brown, 23, was placed under arrest.

He was transported to the Barton County jail and booked on charges of possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, criminal possession of a firearm and drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp. He was released after posting a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
