A Great Bend man was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita with suspected serious injuries on Wednesday following a one-vehicle crash in Ellsworth County. Kansas Highway Patrol reports that Lee Roy Henderson, 77, was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado that was westbound on K-4. Around 4:07 p.m., the vehicle entered the south ditch, struck an embankment and came to rest in a pasture facing east. Henderson was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
