An injury crash was reported at 10:13 a.m. Tuesday in Stafford County after the driver of a feed truck stopped at SW 110th Ave. but then pulled onto U.S. 50, failing to yield to a Toyota that struck the truck.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports that the 2011 International truck was driven by Albino G. Acosta, age 58, from Macksville. The 2017 Toyota Corolla was driven by Aurelia Hinojos, 39, from Garden City, who was transported to Stafford County Hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries. Her passenger, Victor Mendoza Aparicio, 40, also of Garden City, was taken to the hospital with suspected serious injuries. They were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
Acosta was wearing a seat belt and had no apparent injuries.
