On Tuesday, a Pawnee Rock woman reported her Social Security card had been stolen and also reported identity theft.
Venture Corp. reported theft and criminal damage at the main office, 214 South U.S. 281, and the asphalt plant on Tuesday.
A vehicle struck a deer, Wednesday morning on K-4 at mile marker 116.
Great Bend Police
Metal was reportedly stolen from the south side of Randy’s Machine & Repair, 1017 Garfield St., sometime between Jan. 11 and Jan. 18. Loss was $1,500.
A burglary at 1110 Morphy St. was reported Tuesday. Someone allegedly entered one of the apartments and stole $100 cash.
A burglary at 1101 Kansas Ave. was reported Tuesday. Someone allegedly entered one of the apartments and stole medication.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a pickup in the parking lot at 3806 Broadway Ave. on Tuesday.
Underage drinking in the 1500 block of Kansas Ave. was reported Tuesday and citations were issued for minor in possession.
Noell Hartman was driving north on Patton Road turning west on Broadway at 11:34 a.m. Wednesday and her vehicle struck a pole. She received minor injuries and was treated and released at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
A vehicle driven by Orlando Hernandez slid on ice on 18th St. at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday and struck a vehicle driven by Joshua S. Green.
Theft of electrical equipment from 2202 Tyler St. was reported Wednesday.
Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made no ambulance runs on Monday, eight Tuesday and six Wednesday.
There were two fire calls on Tuesday. At 12:49 p.m., they responded to mile marker 197 on U.S. 56 for a small ditch fire.
At 1:25 p.m. they responded to a report of a small grass fire at 1208 Morphy St., where they found ashes from a fireplace had been dumped outside in the grass.
