Great Bend Police

A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 3200 block of 21st St., it was reported Thursday.

A vehicle driven by Cynthia Livingston struck a parked car in the 1400 block of Taft Street at 8:59 a.m. Thurseday.

Vehicles driven by Jenny Wolff and Hope Huslig collided at Lakin and Main at 12:32 p.m. Thursday.

A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 1600 block of Broadway on Thursday.

 

Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made nine ambulance runs on Thursday. There were no fires.

Barton County Sheriff

A motorist in a Dodge Durango hit two deer on North U.S. 281 at mile marker 123 in northern Barton County around 6:10 p.m. Thursday. One deer was still alive and was disposed with a pistol shot by the responding deputy.
