A hit-and-run accident in the 1000 block of Warner Road was reported to the Great Bend Police Department at 4:20 a.m. Sunday. A motorist struck two parked vehicles then left the scene on foot. At 4:43 a.m. an individual at 2119 Ninth St. reported theft of a 2000 Mercury, which was the car located in the 1000 block of Warner Road.
A juvenile suspect was located and booked into the Barton County Jail in a charge of felony theft. He was released to his parents.
