A Larned man has died after being seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Pawnee County.

Kansas Highway Patrol reports that Clifton Wade Rodriguez, 35, was driving south on K-19, 2 miles south of the K-19 East junction, when the vehicle, a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder, went off the roadway into the west ditch around 6 p.m. Rodriguez over-corrected and the vehicle went into the east ditch, where it struck a tree.

KHP reports he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Rodriguez was transported to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned. He later died at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
