A Lyons man was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita with serious injuries on Saturday, Sept. 2, following a one-car rollover in Rice County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Paul Andrew Vasquez, 50, was traveling east on Ave. VV, 5 miles southeast of Raymond, at 2 a.m. when the Series 3 BMW he was driving left the roadway and vaulted to the west, coming to rest in a pasture. 

He was not wearing a seat belt.
