A vehicle driven by Lazario Guerra was traveling south in the 900 block of 10th St. at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, and struck another southbound vehicle driven by Antancio Resenvez, who was making a left turn..

Jodie Dirreen-Feemster was backing a vehicle in the 1900 block of 19th St. Wednesday morning and struck a parked vehicle.

Mason Hiss was driving north on Frey St. and struck another northbound vehicle driven by Trevor Oneil, at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday.

A caller at 1705 Baker Ave. reported hearing a big crash in the alley around 7 p.m. Wednesday, and said a vehicle, possibly a truck, had hit a telephone pole and now the power line was touching the reporting party’s garage.

After a domestic disturbance at a Great Bend residence Wednesday night, a man was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital for a cut to his forehead and his son was arrested for domestic battery.

Someone keyed a 2001 Chevy Tahoe in the parking lot at 1500 Kansas Ave., it was reported Wednesday night.

A vehicle driven by Kristina Roach was northbound on the U.S. 281 Bypass at 8:45 p.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Michael Smith that was turning southbound onto the bypass at 16th St.

A male called the police at 10:31 p.m. Thursday wanting to know why he’d been turned away by the jail when he attempted to serve a sentence. There were no warrants on this man so he was advised to ask someone at the jail.

An unknown motorist was eastbound on 10th St. around 2:58 a.m. Friday and struck a curb. The driver then left the area, and the vehicle was towed. Initial attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful.

Someone broke the driver’s side window on a Chevy pickup at 5817 16th St. Terrance, it was reported Friday morning.

Sometime in the last week, a wallet containing identification was stolen from a vehicle at 5912 Eisenhower Ct., it was reported Friday. Loss was $10.

A vehicle driven by Starsky Bauer was turning onto 10th St. from McDonald’s restaurant at 10:56 a.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driven by Lisa Crites who was eastbound in the turning lane.

Jessica Richardson was driving west on 10th St. changing lanes at 2:43 p.m. Friday and struck another westbound vehicle driven by Amber Novotny.

A 30-year-old woman was taken into protective custody at 4 p.m. Friday when it was reported she was unresponsive after drinking all day. She was transported to CKMC and admitted.

A $21.84 gas skip at 1000 Main and a $43 gas skip at 2337 Washington St. were reported Friday afternoon.

An identify theft case was reported Friday.

Theft of a license plate from 201 Elm St. was reported Friday.

Wayne Dreher was driving west in the 3400 block of 18th St. and sideswiped a parked vehicle at 4:21 p.m. Saturday.

Joseph Smith was driving north in the 2000 block of McKinley St. at 6:04 p.m. Saturday and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Leona Prosser, who was also northbound but stopped in traffic.

A gas skip at 1221 10th St. was reported at 7:29 p.m. Saturday.

A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 4800 block of Camelot West on Sunday.

A vehicle driven by Betty Burtch was backing in the 2900 block of 28th St. at 5:32 p.m. Sunday and struck a parked vehicle.

A hit-and-run vehicle sideswiped a vehicle in the 1500 block of 10th St. at 8:57 p.m. Sunday.

 

Barton County Sheriff

An unknown vehicle and driver struck a mailbox at 366 SE 30 Ave., it was reported Wednesday.

A woman reported Thursday night that a pornographic photo was sent to her daughter via cell phone. She was referred to Great Bend Police Department.

More damage and stolen gasoline at the Lake Barton Golf Course, 673 North U.S. 281, was reported Friday.
