Great Bend Police

A cell phone and wallet were taken from a vehicle in the 2900 block of Forest Avenue sometime last week, the owner reported Tuesday.

An aggravated burglary at 5617 Eisenhower Ave. was reported Tuesday. $200 in cash was stolen.

Theft of a motor from 2001 10th St. was reported Tuesday.

A burglary at 3016 Broadway was reported Tuesday. A set of golf clubs and knives were taken.

Theft of meds from 312 Hickory St. was reported Tuesday.

Vehicles driven by Cole Frimmel and Brad Schmitt were both backing and struck each other in the 1800 block of Main Street at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday. Originally reported as a non-injury accident, Frimmel later reported an injury.

A book bag and miscellaneous items were stolen from 5954 Eisenhower Ave., it was reported Tuesday.

A hit-and-run motorist backed into a legally parked vehicle in the 3200 block of 25th Street, it was discovered at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday.

 

Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Tuesday and checked on a possible gas leak in the area of Main and Railroad Avenue.

 

Barton County Sheriff

A theft in the county that allegedly occurred on Oct. 20 was reported Tuesday.

A motorist hit a deer in the 10 block of NW 50 Avenue late Tuesday.
