Firefighters made 10 ambulance runs Monday. At 11:40 p.m. they checked a possible gas leak at 2911 21st St. but found nothing.

A vehicle driven by DeAnn Keith was westbound in the 2000 block of Broadway Ave. at 9 a.m. Monday and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Joel Brown, who was stopped in traffic. (See Barton County Sheriff for more information.)
A vehicle driven by Janae Victoria was northbound in the 900 block of 10th St. at 11:04 a.m. and sideswiped a vehicle driven by David Brabander, who was northbound making a lane change.
Forgery of a personal check was reported Monday.
Forgery of a Social Security check was reported.
A personal check was reportedly stolen from 2614 Forest Ave.
A vehicle driven by Amanda Henry struck a railroad crossing arm pole in the 3900 block of Broadway at 4:11 p.m.
Traci Raymer, 29, Great Bend, allegedly stole a computer from Walmart, it was reported Monday. She was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on a felony theft charge, with bond set at $5,000.
At 2:21 a.m. Tuesday, it was reported that a known person allegedly cut someone’s tires at Walmart. He was served a notice to appear in Great Bend Municipal Court.

At 8:55 a.m. Monday , deputies were asked to write the report for the accident at Broadway and Williams in Great Bend because one of the drivers is a city employee. They deputy found no damage but a case was requested.
